This policy explains what information ATSVerse collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate.
1. The resume data you type
ATSVerse is a client-side application: the resume builder runs entirely inside your web browser. When you type your name, work history, or any other resume content, that data is saved only to your browser's local storage on your own device, so your draft survives a page refresh. It is not uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on any server we operate — we simply don't have a server that receives it. Clearing your browser's site data, or using the "Clear all data" option in the app, permanently deletes it.
If you use the "Export data" feature, a JSON file is generated locally on your device and downloaded directly by your browser; it never passes through a server either.
2. Compliance with data protection law
Because ATSVerse does not collect, transmit, or store your resume data on any server, it does not act as a "data fiduciary" processing your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or as a data controller under regimes like the EU's GDPR, with respect to that resume content — the data simply never reaches us. Where third-party services described below (such as advertising or analytics providers) do process limited technical data on their own systems, that processing is governed by their respective privacy policies, linked in the relevant sections.
3. Cookies and advertising
This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or similar third-party ad networks. These networks may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of several third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
We do not control the cookies set by third-party ad networks and encourage you to review their own privacy policies for details on how they handle data.
4. Analytics
ATSVerse does not currently run any analytics or tracking script. If that changes in the future, this section will be updated first, and any analytics used will not have access to the resume content you type into the builder, since that data never leaves your browser.
5. Third-party links
Our blog and pages may link to external resources (for example, Google's own settings pages). We aren't responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites you navigate to from here.
6. Children's privacy
ATSVerse is intended for job seekers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when advertising is enabled on the site. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
