This page sets out the limits of what ATSVerse and its published guides are, and are not. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. General information only
The articles, checklists, examples and guidance published on ATSVerse are provided for general informational purposes. They reflect widely-observed conventions in resume writing and recruitment, not tailored professional advice about your individual circumstances. We are not a career counselling service, a recruitment agency, or a legal or immigration advisor, and nothing on this site should be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in those fields.
2. No guarantee of results
ATSVerse helps you structure and format a resume, and provides an automated readiness score as general guidance. It cannot and does not guarantee that a resume will be parsed correctly by any particular employer's Applicant Tracking System, shortlisted, selected for an interview, or result in a job offer. Hiring decisions rest on many factors — experience, timing, competition, the specific employer's process — that are entirely outside this tool's control.
3. The ATS readiness score is heuristic
Both tools show a readiness score that ATSVerse calculates itself. The builder runs thirteen checks on what you have entered — contact details (name, a professional email, phone, location, LinkedIn), a summary of 25–90 words, at least one experience entry with three or more bullets, bullets that carry numbers and open with action verbs, eight or more listed skills, a completed education section and a length within two pages — each with a fixed weight shown beside it. The ATS Checker runs eight checks on the text you paste or upload — email, phone, standard section headings, length, bullet structure, quantified results, action verbs and filler phrases — and, if you paste a job description, lists which of its most frequent terms appear in your resume; that keyword comparison is informational and does not change the score. Both are self-review aids, not simulations of, or certified tests against, any real Applicant Tracking System product, and because the two tools run different check-sets their numbers will differ. A high score does not mean any specific ATS will rank your resume highly, and a lower score does not mean your resume will be rejected.
4. No affiliation or endorsement
ATSVerse is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to any employer, recruitment agency, job board, or Applicant Tracking System vendor. Where such names appear on this site, they are referenced descriptively and remain the trademarks of their respective owners.
5. Accuracy and currency
Recruitment practices, formatting conventions and hiring software change over time. While we make a genuine effort to keep our guides accurate and current, we make no warranty that all content is complete, correct or up to date at the moment you read it. Any date shown on an article indicates when it was published or last revised.
6. External links
Some pages link to third-party websites for reference. Those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any external site.
7. Advertising
This site may display advertising served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Advertisements and any products or services they promote are not reviewed, endorsed, or vetted by ATSVerse. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.
8. Use at your own risk
